| Welcome to my page dedicated to my family and the collection of family pictures I have retouched, Some of these pictures were in terrible but thank goodness for Photoshop and a fast computer Our family settled into east TN in the early 1800's and on my fathers side were Scotch Irish and German and my mothers were mostly Irish but my mother way one quarter Cherokee. You can see it in the pictures of her below. Our name on my fathers was Moeyers but was changed to Myers in the early 1900's and my mothers name is Tabor and she was a cousin of Sargent York the hero from World War One. My Grandfather on my mom's side was the county's blacksmith and our family still grows today... |
